Coaching Process

Silvan will work with you for 12 months. Through personal interviews and 360° feedback from stakeholders in your company, you pick one or two high-impact characteristics to change. You’ll choose 6-12 stakeholders who can judge your progress. Spend as much time with Silvan as you need to analyze the feedback and build an action plan. It’s simple but challenging.

To ensure maximum attention to the behavior you want to change, pick one or two that your manager and peers agree on. We’ll be spending a year correcting this habit, so it’s important to know it’s the right one.

Through this process, you’ll be talking to each of your key stakeholders and collecting suggestions on improving key areas you want to improve. The short 2-3 minute conversations should be positive, simple, and future-focused.

We’ll have an on-going follow-up process that’s efficient and focused. The stakeholders will provide regular feedback to your coach about how you’re improving — there will always be a focus on the future.

If you’ve been committed to the program, you should expect positive reviews by the program’s 12th month. At this point, you should feel equipped with the toolkit to coach your own team.

Who Is Silvan?

The Berlin native enjoyed a colorful childhood with his hippie parents. They traveled around the globe until he was seven years old. Back in Germany, he finished school and completed his Economics degree in Berlin and the US. His corporate career included Cisco, Comscore, and eBay. Later he went on to found three technology startups, two of which were recognized internationally. He is fluent in English and German. Silvan now lives in Berlin with his girlfriend and fabulous stepdaughter. The coach spends his free time in the MMA gym and is a fan of drum and bass music.

How Silvan and Marshall met

In 2010 Silvan read Marshall’s book “What Got You Here, Won’t Get You There”. He immediately recognized that he would need a coach like him when founding his own company. And so it happened that Marshall coached the C-Level of the aspiring tech startup “ParkTAG”. When Silvan exited the company in 2019 he joined forces with Marshall’s team at the Stakeholder Centered Coaching.
